CONFIRMED! A new series is being released in 2010 or 2011. It is called Avatar The Legend of Korra. It is supposed to take place a hundred years after Aang’s last episode. Korra is said to be the descendant of Aang and Katara possibly. She is the next waterbending Avatar. Please look it up on Google as Avatar The Legend of Korra. (Don’t blame me if its not true..im just passing it on!)

hi, billy mays here saying that there will be no new series, only a twelve episode miniseries, the whole thing is set in one city, the new avatar is from the southern tribe and is NOT a descendant of aang, but her airbending teacher is.
its set 70 years later, not 100, the city is suppose to look like 90s hong kong, and its called republic city.
